Unsolicited creation of folders

I'm one of those Admins who are pleased by lean and clean systems and who find it impudent if programs allow themselves  to create folders anywhere. BE 2010 created a folder named "program files" in the root of  partition D: of my server which includes a file named "XPDLOShareu.dll". I cannot delete this folder. Does some one know how to get back sovereignty over my partitions and delete or move this file where it belongs to?

Hello,

This file is created when you enable "Desktop and Laptop Options" If you are not using DLO...
1  : Go to tools-->Install options and license and Uncheck "Desktop and Laptop Options" then you will be able to delete the file.

OR

2  : Stop all the BE services, including the DLO services and the SQL service for BE and delete the file....
