I just tried to upgrade from 9.1 to 11d. When I started the new install, 9.1 was still running but I stopped all services and put all jobs on hold.
During the 11d installation, the old licenses were found. But I was never asked about converting the catalog files.
Once the installation was complete, I can not run the 11d version. Once I key in the password, I get the error message "The Backup Exec server is an earlier version that is no longer supported for remote administration". I can't go any further. My old 9.1 version seems to still be running.
It seems like a real upgrade never happened. The fact that I wasnt asked about the catalog files makes me think the old version wasn't seen.
Has anyone seen this problem and know a solution?
