    Does anybody know how much free space on c is necessary to complete the upgrade of BE 10d to 11d?

Hello
 
I would say double the size of the existing Backup Exec installation folder size. The 10 installation files will get deleted at the end of 11 d installation.
 
But also depends on the size of your Data and Catalogs folder.
