Could anyone please shed some light on the following two questions I have:
1) Is it possible to upgrade CPS from 10 to 11d without losing any snapshot history? My understanding is that the upgrade process requires the complete uninstall of 10 before installing 11d.
2) I have two servers, a backup server (Server 2003) and a data server (Server 2000). The backup server is running CPS 10 and is backing up data continuously on the data server using the CPS agent. If I were to copy the data on the data server to a new server with the same server name, directory structure and share structure, would I still be able to maintain the snapshot history on the backup server? Or does any relocation of data to a new server automatically render previous snapshots void?
