Upgrading to another server

I want to transfer an agent(exchange) from one server to another. Both are running windows 2000 server, but the old server is running veritas 9.0 and the new one is running veritas 10d.

What i want to know is if this just to buy a Exchange agent upgrade for the 10d, enter the key and roll out the agent, or if this is not possible.

Does it require the 9.0 to have been installed on the server before i can use the upgrade key, or is it enough to have the licens?

Hello,

To install exchange agent on 10d server you will require new license keys. you cannot use 9.0 license key.
buy the license key and then install the agent.
