we got the problem in backup of the nsf database through the lotus notes agent.
 
the technotes is :277612
 
and there is no finding in this technotes.
 
"There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. This issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time. However, this particular issue is not currently scheduled for any release. A workaround is available through Symantec Phone Support. Please contact Symantec Support for more information."

Our problem server version is v10.1 Rev 5629
 
and the lotus domino server is R6.5

I may have fixed my problem by doing the following:
1. I installed a firewire card (800) into the server.
2. Plugged a external disk via the firewire 800 port.
3. moved the transactionlogs to the external drive. (i.e you to change your lotus notes transactionlogs settings.)
4. The do an full backup
5. then do incremental backup.
I have ran it for a week we no errors.
Issue seems to be it Transaction Logs are normally recommended to be on:
Raid 1/0
Separate Disk sub-system
Separate Controller
