V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup directory Mailbox Database and its subdirectories.

I have:

 

Win 2k3 64bit with Ex2007 installed on it. Backupexec has SP3 and hotfixes 47 & 48. There is only 1 exchange server on this site.

 

Running as a user called backupexec with domain admin rights and exchange organization administrator and that user account has an active account in exchange 2007.

 

The backup seems to work but says failed. These are the errors:

 

Backup- \\KMAIL1\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup directory Mailbox Database and its subdirectories.

Backup- \\KMAIL1\Microsoft Information Store\Second Storage Group V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup directory Public Folder Database and its subdirectories.

Odd thing is that backup to disk works, but fails on access denied (not tape related errors) on backup to tape.

 

Does anyone have a clue where to start?

Disable GRT an you'll be able to backup without error but when you disable GRT you won't be able to restore individual mailbox. But for now it's better then have no success backup,....
