Hello Stefan,

Are there any changes done to the account used for backups? What if we run a Full backup and then again run Differential? Is that backup job successfull after another full & differential?

Regards,

Sush...

Hi Sush,

Thanks for your reply. No changes had been made to the Backup Exec account. We had several circles of full backup and then differential backups. It always ended up the same way: Full backup fine, diffenentials with exceptions.

Best regards - Stefan.

Is this a DeDupe Folder or a Standard Disk Storage ? If the latter, does it have a drive letter and how is connected to BE ?

Per debug, it looks like it is referencing the volume GUID and not a drive letter

'\\?\Volume{1eb86af7-be36-11e2-a234-14feb5cc26dd}\

Hi,

it is a Standard Disk Storage. It has a drive letter. And it is connected by USB.

Best regards - Stefan.

It's quite strange that the debug log is referencing the USB using its GUID and not drive letter. Would recommend to log a formal support case. Thanks.
