What's interesting is that while the backup job is running, you can go and refresh the server services and the Backup Exec Oracle Agent has actually stopped running. In almost every case, it fails at the undo tablespace as seen below (taken from the job log):
After it does this you can find the following error messages in event viewer:
Event ID 1000: Faulting application BENTOAGT.EXE, version 5.0.3.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.0, fault address 0x0001d61b.
Event ID 34113: Backup Exec Alert: Job Failed - (Job: "ATT20-HOT-AM") ATT20-HOT-AM -- The job failed with the following error: A communications failure has occurred.
Event ID 7036: The Volume Shadow Copy service entered the stopped state.
Event ID 2: Backup Exec Agent for Oracle Server exiting.
So far we have tried the following:
1) Deleted all the jobs and recreated them
2) Ran a repair on the Backup Exec software
3) Upgraded version 10 to SP3
4) Uninstalled and reinstalled the Oracle agent

Version 5.0.3.0 (7/27/04)
This has been going on for quite some time now and I really need to get it fixed! PLEASE HELP!!!!
