Now I know people are going to say "don't do brick level", "it's slow because it is" and things like that, but this used to be fine (well relatively). However one night earlier this month, the brick level suddenly started being VERY slow. It went from about 3 hours for brick level to around 10!
AV hasn't changed, mailboxes haven't increased dramatically or anything like that and AOFO is still ON as it was when it was working fine.
Any suggestions?
Exchange 2003 SP2 running on Server 2003 SP2 by the way.
I have current;y had to disable brick level and now just backup the storage groups and actual files - which is fine for DR purposes but not so good for the users who from time to time delete mail folders etc.
