Veritas 10.0 for windows server and dell power vault 122T

WE just got a dell power vault 122T,we found out that vertats is the best software we could use with it.Just wanted to know if the vertias standard 10.0 for windows server includes the auto loder where the sofware could automatically load the scheduled task at the specific tapes and load and unload the multiple tapes as scheduled

I guess what i am trying to ask you is that we recently downloaded the veritas backup exec 10.0 fro windows servers but could not find the autoloader feature in it,do u think if we buy the standard version we could get the autoloader feature with it or is that to be bought seperately.........

Hello,

We presume you have a single drive autoloader. In this case you do not require additional licenses. You mentioned that the Backup Exec is unable to recognize it as an autoloader. Does it appear as a stand alone driver or it is unable to recognize it at all?
