Veritas Driver

Dear all

I am using Veritas Backup Exec 10.0. I have installed the driver from 2005-10-10. I noticed that there is a new driver installer but for version 10.1(d). Can I use this driver also for version 10.0? Or when is a new driver release for version 10.0?

Could you tell us which Build of 10.0 do you have installed?

I am using 10.0 Rev. 5520.

Ok so that means that I can not use the newer? will this driver fail?

You can only use the device driver packages with the build of Backup Exec they are intended for. Even if you could use the later package, most likely the drivers for your particular hardware have not changed. The driver update packages are used mostly for introducing support for new devices.
