I have setup a job to take a backup of our file server to a B2D folder. Now, i move it to a test lab i have with all my servers in there, now when i try to restore the file to a server with the same hostname, the system state of the backup server is being overwritten, not serverX. now i have not setup any redirections. Both servers are server 2003.
The day before i restored a domain controller in the same manner which worked fine.
Am i not doing something i should be?
