Which tape?

I have inherited a backup system but the tape rotation is "out of sync". Only have a single LTO drive. I have used other software that once you setup a rotation schedule the backup job would alert the operator which tape to load for that particular job. I can't seem to find the same function in BE 9.1. I have to rely on other people to change tapes and the rotation is a mess.

Backup Exec picksup the tape according to ADAMM (Advanced Device and media management) and it all depends on the OPP (Overwrite protection period) and APP (Append period) that you have set for the media set properties.

Incase you have a LIBRARY, then you can partition the drives for specific days tape that means if the JOB is targeted to MONDAYS partition slot then it only look in that partition and if it does not find it will ask you to insert the appropriate tape.
