We run Backup Exec 10d on Windows Server 2003. Our daily backups consist of data on each server which is located on partitions other than the C: Drive. Once a month after applying the patches and updates, we run a backup containing the C: drive along with the Shadow Copy Components of each system. Doing this will update my *.DR files. Then I create the ISO images using the IDR Wizard.
My issue is that although my daily backup is only the data partitions, why are my *.DR files suddenly updating every night? I thought they only changed after doing a backup containing the System State or Shadow Copy Components, depending on if you use 2000 or 2003.
Any ideas?
