I have one 2003 dfs root on my domain. I have replication going between two servers for the root. One server backs up the root fine, but the other does not. It can access the share fine, but all the folders underneath fail with security violations. In the job log, under Job Completion Status, I get "Final error: 0xe0008488 - Access is denied." In the Errors section of the log, for each root folder, it states, "V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied. Access is denied to directory . . ." I have seen that similar problems with DFS have cropped up before, however, some of the suggestions on the site or the knowledge base have not corrected the problem. Any ideas?
