W2K3 reqiuired v9.0.4454 at a minimum. See http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/252678.htm

As the link states, Veritas says that to support W2K3, you need v9.0.4454

You cannot install v8.x on it, and if you try to connect from a v8 server over the network, will not be able to grab the Shadow Copy components, though you MIGHT be able to get user data.

Ken, But the link does not say it support sp1. Someone told me that there are some issues with sp1and Backup Exec. Can you clarify this?Thanks.

NO v8 BUILD SUPPORTS Windows 2003

To support Windows 2003 you MUST be on v9.0.4454 (or any v9.1 or v10 build)

I don't think I can be any more clear than that

(I believe the problems you mention were with v9.1 and W2K3 SP1)
