I have several XML and HTM files located in my C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Data folder. I use BackupExec 11d to backup around 200GB a night and these files end up filling up my C drive after a week or so. Most of the files equal 350 - 450MB apiece. Is there something I can do to limit these files so that I don't need to manually delete them in order to recover the free space on the C drive? Thanks.

Hi Kevin,
Go to Tools>Options>Job logs and select the radio button, Summary only (First). This will only collect limited information on the job logs and will cut down the size. Also in Tools>options> Database Maintenance, make the alteration according to your needs so that the older job logs are automatically purged out of the database.
P.S. Never manually delete those files.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Saurabh
