We had our server shut down during a storm and now the services will not start. Can someone please give me some ideas to try. Comes up with error 1068 but it looks like a non helpful error.
Thank you
Tom

Try opening windows services and starting the services individually
Be sure to slide down to the SQL instance ... BKUPEXEC and verify that it is started first
Edit... Here's the order for you
SQl(Bkupexec)
BE Remote agent
BE Device and media
BE server service
BE job engine service
BE Agent browser

I did notice that SQL will not start as well. So I guess if that will not start either will the others. Is there a config file that hold computer name or sql name that may have got damaged because of the shut down?

Verify that the SQL instance is configured to run as System logon account
