backup exec 2014 hyper v machine backup

i have hyper v 2012 R2 with BE2014

i wanted to know in backup exec 2014 while running a backup job of a vm

does it create avhd files ?

can i control the avhd location ?

does it merged automatically ?

No it does not create avhd files. BE will always store is backup sets in either disk or tape storage

i checked it today

and while the vm backup is running

it's creating a snapshot and on the hpyer v console it's says backing up

and a avhd file is created !

is there anyway to change this ?

i don't have enough hard disk sapce for it
