i have backup exec ver 11 installed on fiew servers but 2 of them stopped services

and asking for crudentials of the administrator even they were intered correctly in the 1st

place does any one the issue please.

Hi,

Open up BEutility.exe, and use the option there to change the service account credentials.

Change them to the same account details you use.

That said, check Active Directory if you run a domain and make sure that the account is not locked out or disabled.

Also you can try using different domain admin account to start the backupexec services with & see if that works

For which you can open backupexec click on services & then click on service credentials enter the details required & click on ok & then restart services & then when services are working fiine please go to network --log on account--& click on edit to update password for that user
