anyone know how i can have the system bypass giving me a fail error do to corrupted e-mails i don;t want to have to go to 30 deferent people and tell them to delete the currupted e-mail
I assume you are doing "mailbox" backup. This is a drawback of mailbox backup - Backup Exec has decided that a corrupt message is "fatal", not "warning". It does NOT mean your entire mailbox backup is 'bad' - just that particular message.
(But if your Exchange databases have some corrupt messages, don't you eventually want to get rid of them?)
There are several other lengthy discussion threads in this forum about Exchange "store" vs "mailbox" backups. Have a look - especially if you are running Exchange 2003 with its 'Recovery Storage Group' feature.
Danny, does this technote help you ? http://support.veritas.com/docs/261457
