backup job destination query

I have implement exabytes packet autoloader with Backupex 10.0 Small Business Edition. The drives are partitioned in to a number of different slots.
I want to run daily jobs from monday to thursday and then 4 sets of weekend jobs.
I would like to point each job at a particular tape but it will not let me select the device from the list even though it shows them all. I can only select All devices.
by doing this the backup runs but it runs on the next tape rather than the specific tape I want.

How should this be configured?

Hi John,


You can create partitions and target the backup jobs to a specific partition. Please refer to the below mentioned technote for creating the partition on the autoloader:
