backup job pausing whilst active

Running a backup job, wether manually or scheduled and it keeps pausing. No information in the event viewer, no alerts or error logs. Cant figure out what is causing it to continously pause. We dont have any remote agents, just letting people know as i'm usually told they can cause these problems.

any ideas?

Please verify if the latest veritas drivers have been installed.If not please install latest drivers .Link given below

If you are backing up a remote server remote agent has to be installed on the remote server.
