backup microsoft information store exchange (mailbox)

hallo , i necessity to backup exchange mailbox from backup exec 2010 with a different NIC . the principal NIC have 172.x.x.x (dns MAIL2) and the backup is ok, but with to increase the mailbox number and size the time is very long. i need to use a second NIC with 192.x.x.x (dns bews-exchange) but when i use Backup Selection List the second NIC not visualizing "Microsoft Information Store". on the client i have inserted the dns name of server backup exec (bews-dory) on backup client services

it is possible to backup the exchange on second NIC ???

In Backup job properties go to Network and Security and select the other Network through which you want to take the backups.

make sure that the mail server name resolves the media server by the second ip address on the media server (best method might be a local host file entry on the exchnage server itself.) Note: Restart remote agent service after changing the name resolution

Also if Exchnage is clustered then the cluster resource also needs an ip address on the second network.
