backup not overwrite the old backup

hi

i have a problem that all my backup jobs not overwrite the old backup.

so i have to delete manualy the old backups files.

i backup to network director.

how to fix that ?

What is the OPP (Overwrite Protection Period) for the media set?

Fromn Tools\Options\Media Management, make sure that "Use Overwriteable media in target media set" is chosen rather than "Use Scractch before Overwriteable"
