When attempting to do a Catalog on a HP C5683A: DDS-4 DAT, 20-40GB, SCSI, LVD, Internal tape drice The job remains at "queued" and the Job Engine service stops. The event log entry is below in red.
The tape drive lists a Symantec driver and will successfully run an Inventory job. The tape itself was created by ArcServe.
I have turned off the "Use storage media-based catalogs" option in Tools / Options / Catalog.
I am able to run a catalog of an ArcServe tape using an HP Ultrium 2 SCSI LTO.
Any advice for getting the HP DAT to function properly?
