can backup but not restore to netware 5.0

since upgradeing to 9.1, i've found that i am able to backup my netware 5.1 servers fine, but if i try to restore, i get an error msg of 'authentication failed on connection to server' and 'access is denied to remote agent'. I am using the same account and have re-entered the credentials.

any ideas?
