compatibility of unix agent for backupexec

Hi All,
I want t install backupexec 10.1(10d) cell on windows 2003 for the purpose of backup windows env, as well as Unix servers(now I have just one).

My unix server is HP-UX server model 9000/800/rp3440 running O.S 11.11, and I'm not sure if there is a backupexec agent for this kind of specifications.
In all my searches I couldn�t find one is suitable.
I'll be happy to know if what I'm looking for is actually exist for backupexec 10d, and if so, to get more details about it

Hello,

HP-UX 11 is not comaptible with RALUS Agent. Check the following compatibillity:

However you could try using the legacy agent for the same:

Thanks for your reply.
I've already tried using this agent (279803) but with out any success.
I managed to install it properly and to get it work on the UNIX server.
The problem I'm having is that I can't see the server or connect to it from the Backupexec cell on my Win 2003 server, even my agent is up and running.
I'm working on it for a long time now and I'm starting to get frustrated form it.... :)

Hello,

In the host file on the media server add the server name and ip address of the remote server and vis-versa.

Check that port 10,000 is open on both the servers

Port 10000 is used by RALUS for Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP) communication between the media server and the UNIX/Linux machine.
