Hi

Found the backup has been failing continually for the last week and a half - it appears to fail unless you delete the tape before backing up - quick or full delete seems to work. The error im getting im getting if i do not do a delete is this:

Job ended: 18 October 2005 at 23:03:18
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0x452 - When accessing a new tape of a multivolume partition, the current block size is incorrect.

Final error category: Other Errors

--

obviously this is not good - as I would have to schedule a format before a backup and never had to do this before... Anyone who has any ideas please post - Thanks in advance

Is it possible you have modified the block size setting on your tape drive (or these tapes are from another system with a different block size specified) since the tapes where last used?

This setting is found on the devices tab -> right mouse click on drive -> configuration.
