deleting active/verify/loading job

Peyton_Bradham

under activity monitor, there is a job which is class= active, and type=verify, status=loading media, with a date of 11/30/05.
I need to delete it, but it doesn’t give me the option when I right click on it or hit delete key. I can only choose refresh or properties, but not cancel or delete.
I believe it is preventing further, current jobs from running…

How can I get rid of it?

thank you,

when I tried running the command line to find the job ID, it did not respond with one, as if there were not any jobs present, even though I can see it in activity monitor.
The person who created the job is no longer with us, but I dont think it was done with with a policy....

Hello,

Try to stop and restart all the Backup exec services and check if it helps. If the issue persists, follow the steps in the technote below:
