error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent

Whenever I start a backup job it gives me the V-79-57344-33899 error stating that

 "The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent. Make sure that the correct version of the Remote Agent is installed and running on the target computer.Final error category: Resource Errors"

I did the remote agent installation through the backup exec software 

Any help would be appreciated.

 Is the Remote agent service started on the remote server??

Also is it started under Local System Account (LSA)?... it should be LSA.

Yes,The remote agent service is started under LSA.I have tried deleting the agent and re adding it using BE. The jobs still fail with the same error

Do you have any Firewall enabled on Media server or remote server?

Also what is the exact version of BE that you are using?

Is your Backup Exec fully up to date with Live updates?  Run Live updates and if any install then push them out to the Remote servers.  Do you still get this error?

Sorry about the delay. I ran live updates and pushed them out to the servers. several of them needed a reboot, which I cannot do until after hours. I do have 4 servers that are no longer giving the errors, so I think that was the issue.
