failure accessing the object list e000fedd

Hi

On my weekly backups I get this error failure accessing the object list e000fedd
My daily incrementals are running fine

I am running Windows 2003 Server Standard Ed. and using the latest Veritas 10.1 ver 5629 (evaluation) and a Powervault 132 T.

I am new to this. I have search the forums here and also have tried the MS hotfixes which will not work because I am running the latest version of 2003 SP1.

Please let me know what other information you need.

Thanks

Russell

Hello,

- Is it a local backup or a remote backup?

- Are you backing up any Exchange Databases?

- Do you use the AOFO Option durning backup?

Thanks for getting back. I think that we figured out the problem. It could be one of 2 things, which we are going to check.

1 The backup job could be corrupt. or
2 The system state could be corrupt, therefore causing the errors.

I am going to try 1st to redo the backup and then do an inplace upgrade on the server. We have had an issue with this server, which make me think that it could be a corrupt system state.

Thanks

Russell

Hi,

As a test you could try a backup with NTBACKUP and compare the results....
