help with Exchange 2007

I know the support article located at http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/287937.htm says I have to uninstall the old version of MAPI/CDO before I install the new version for the upgrade to be successful, but I can't find instructions on how to uninstall the old version.  Can somebody help out?

I'm sure it's something really easy, I just don't know what to do and I don't want to screw it up

Andrew, just go to Add/Remove programs and it will be in the list...  It is called "Messaging API and Collaboration and Data Objects 1.x.x"  (Acronym is MAPI CDO)  :)

Just uninstall, reboot and install the newest version.
