how to change passwords of logon accounts in SBE

I inherited a Symantec Backup Exec system.  I have an old account that on the logon accounts that no-one knows the password to.  I can change the password to the real account but I have no idea how to change the logon credentials in BE for the account.  BE seems to require the old password.  How can I change the password without knowing the old one?

You can delete the old account and then create a new account.
