Hello,

By default Backup exec database maintenance runs everyday at 4 am.

You change the scheduled time of Backup Exec database Maintenance.
Go to Tools | Options | Settings | Database Maintenance. Default time is
4:00 AM . You may change this time other than the time schedule for backup
and verify the result.

Check the database consistency. From the path \program
files\Veritas\Backup Exec\NT run the BEUTility file. Add the Backup Exec
server and then run the Database task to perform "Check Database
Consistency" and note the status.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. anyway I just have another question.

What if my backup still runnning on the time specified like the time maintenance, thus it still run for database maintenance. My backup start at evening and finished at around 6 in the morning.
