operation failed to acquire minimum number of drives and media needed

I get this when trying to back up DATA from a file server. The media is available and ready for use. Another job that runs after this is backing up exchange with the same TAPE and it runs successfully.

I just manually retried the job and it goes without a problem.

Any ideas?

Event ID on the job is 34113

What does the rest of the event id say please? For example:

34113
Backup Exec Alert: Job Failed
(Server: "SLIGO-BACKUP") (Job: "Daily Full Backup 2") Daily Full Backup 2
-- The job failed with the following error: Database Query Failure - see job log for details.

I wish I had more for you, but this error doesn't have much on it that is publicly available.

Without seeing it, I suspect it has something to so with the media set settings.
