"Final error: 0xe0008442 - A memory allocation request failed" during Exchange restore

I have a Windows 2003 server running BE 11d fully patched, attempting to restore a user's contact folder from a backup made from Exchange 2007 running on a w2k3 64-bit server.  As soon as I start the restore, the following error occurs:

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe0008442 - A memory allocation request failed. The computer may be running low on virtual memory.
Final error category: System Errors

For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-33858

I've checked the Exchange Servers virtual memory and there is plenty free, plus I increased the paging file and the memory up to 6GB.  After a reboot the same error occurs.  The few times I've seen this question answered in the past it references to Microsoft's site to download a hotfix to correct this error, but the hotfix is not available for the 64bit version of w2k3.

I have exactly same context... and exactly same issue when trying to perform any granular restore..!
