I have a BuExec 11d server with the latest service pack and hot fixes. My sharepoint farm consists of a single WSS3.0 web server and a SQL 2005 database server.
I am trying to backup my sharepoint farm. I can select the Farm and all the web applications. The problem I am expereincing is when I test the resource credentials the test results for the web server are successful but for the database server I get "resource not found".
I am able to save and schedule the job.
The backup job runs and fails with the following messages for the database server portion of the backups.
Directory was not found, or could not be accessed.
None of the files or subdirectories contained within will be backed up.
The backup summary shows data being backed up but the final message in the summary of the job log says
"This backup set may not contain any data."
When I attempt to restore some files the job says it was successful but the data is not restored.
Please help me restore my confidence in this product.
