"e0008488 - Access is denied" error when backing up Exchange with enable restore

I am running Exchange Version: 6.5.7638.1 on Windows 2003 server with Backup Exec 11d. Every time I try and do a backup of the information store with restore individual boxes checked I receive the above error message. The kbase entry 286144 says to make sure you do NOT have any AD accounts disabled, which I do not. The Job Log shows the following, but the Job Verify section in the log show complete.

WARNING: "\\NPCORPEXCH1\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (NPCORPEXCH1)"...
This file cannot verify.
 
Verify- \\NPCORPEXCH1\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group 
WARNING: "Mailbox Store (NPCORPEXCH1)" is a corrupt file.
This file cannot verify.

 

Any thoughts on how to proceed in troubleshooting would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced for your comments.

It's likely that your problem is the issue outlined in the following technote.  If so, I would suggest to check for any mailboxes that are deleted, but haven't been pruged yet.  Another thing that you could do it try disabling GRT for one backup to see if it will complete successfully.
