We have these old DDS2 tapes dated back in 1999 with Novell Backup Exec 7 and I've been trying to recover the data with a Windows Server 2008 Backup Exec 2010. Backup Exec see's my media tapes and will not read. Anyone know why?
I think the problem is the tape format. BE on Windows writes to tape using the Microsoft tape format. It would not be able to read a tape written out using Novell.
