remote agent error in backing up the oracle database

Hi.
I installed BEWS10 server & oracle agent.

tape library(lto) is attached backupexec server (scsi).

oracle database is operating in same local server.

In backing up the file, there is nothing error. successful.

But in backing up the oracle database, alerted below message.

The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent.
----------------------------------------------------------------

all backupexec services is started correctly.
and oracle configuration utility is well-set.
oracle backup user don't have any problem.
also licenses are registered correctly
(server,remote agent,agent for oracle, drive support)

oracle database have two instances;
I can select the oracle instances and tablespaces.

But after excuting the backup job, error message is

alerted like above.

I searched tech notes but don't get the related answer.

If you suffered with this problem, please give me a hand.

Simple reply but whats in the event logs, id suggest the Remote Agent error is for something else youre trying to backup or B/Exec thinks it should be backing up as your saying the db app's local.

Trying killing and deleting the job and recreating and doing a minor run,

Like Neil mentioned please look into the windows event logs and see if you have any messages in there.

In addition any BE job log messages will aslo help.

An error occurs when trying to back up an Oracle server: "0xe000846b - The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent".

Please let us know under which account runs Remote agent service and all other BEWS Services ?

Please check for the exact error message in Job log and event id and paste it here.
