i have backupexec 12
i need to restore a mail box but i don't have enough free space , i wont to restore to another server but i get error that says that i have to restore to local drive with ntfs permissions

'Fraid there's not much anyone can tell you

This is a documented requirement of GRT enabled backups that are on tape or non-local NTFS volumes (remote network shares for example)

See the v12.5 admin Guide page 551

Update.  just re-read your original post

Are you trying to redirect the entire store to a new server?  or just restore  some individual items?
