Hi, my exchange server is dead, hardware issue (2 hdd drives on a raid 5 dead... lucky me...) I need to restore my database on an other server that i have installed exchange 2003 on it. admin group and al the rest is the same (i reinstalled exchange on the old exchnge server). When i try to restore my database, it tell's me that the credential are not found, the old server is not recoverable, and i had to ghost my old Master FSMO because the server that is dead had server master roles. so now, i have a server with exchange installed and a backup of an exchange server that does not exist. can anyone help me... for now i am trying to restore a 3 moth old backup that a got with ntbackup.
