hi

Where do I find the absolute paths in the context of band number and backup date. I.e.

I need the information which data are exactly on which tape For example file M. \ office \ blah \ info.blub is on tape in 2016 .... backed up on ....

Therefore, the question is where do I find the absolute paths because then I can pull out the data for our external database.

thank you very much

One way is to insert the tape into the drive, run an inventory. Double-click on the drive & there is an option to view contents on the left side...And on the right side you would see the backup set info.

Else, see if there is default or a custom report about media group which gives the desired info..

You can use CatTools to dump the catalog of your tapes.  This will give you the list of files backed upon that tape
