unable to log on to Exchange 2000

Hi Formu-Members,

after corruption of our Exchange 2000-DB we installed a new Exchange Server in the same Exchange Organisation. All mailboxes were moved to the new server.
While trying to restore the mailbox data to the new server using BackupExec 9.0 Rev.4367 I got the error message

final errorcode: a000848c final description No connection to a drive could be established
final errorcategorie: Ressource error
(I translated this from German; I hope it is correct)

The error occurs no matter if I use the doamin admin's account or the BackupExec service account, who both have full admin rights in exchange.
The mailbox for BackupExec was created on the new Exchange Server.

Any hint to resolve the problem is highly appreciated.

Best regards

Tobias

Hello,

-- As your exchnage server crashed and you ahve rebuilted the server, have you added the different hardaware, different netbios name/Ip address?
-- Remote agent is present on the remote server?
-- Verify if service account has admin role at all levels ie. site server.
-- enable restrict anonymous support on bothe the servers.
-- you can refer the following technoet:
