veritas 8.6. stays in active state

hello all,

I'm heaving an Issue with my veritas Backup Exec for windows.

Any job I do stays in an active state, even when I close all alerts or cancel the job. the only way to get it out of the active state is to stop and start the services after every job.

anyone has an idea how I can solve this?

from the devices tab, is the server started and ready, is the tape drive started and ready?
