veritas services stop automatically!!!!

i have upgraded veritas 9 to 9.1 on windows 2000 small business server platform. for some reason, the services keep stopping on me. when i restart the services it works once and then stop. anyone can help me on that?

Does one service stop or do they all stop?

Are there any errors in the event logs?

Are they stopping at different times or is it always at a certain time (can be checked in the event logs)?

all the services stop together. there are no error on the event log for veritas, yes they are stopping different times. by the way, i am using veritas backup exac 9.1 rev 4691 on windows small business server 2000.

This is weird. Ok, do they stop during a backup? If so can you post up the backup log.

Also, you should be able to see the backup exec services stopping in the event logs, can you see that

Does the server reboot at all?

You can try running backup exec in debug mode and then check the logs when it happens again (see link below):

Other options of the top of my head are the usual things, like instal the latest service pack, run a repair of backup exec, repair the database etc.
