where can BE installed on

hi i have a question, i'm currently new to BE. i'm unsure where we should install the software.
we currently have 3 servers running, AD, Exchange, and SQL, i understand there are agents that we can install for exchange and sql. can i install the BE server on AD server, that will be connected tape drive? or should i get another dedicated computer to handle BE?

some help would be great.

You would be better off installing on another server if possible. I am assuming that the AD server is a Windows Domain Controller. If so, you would also be better of with another AD server (domain controller) as well.

You also need to obtain Remote Agent licenses for each server you wish to backup.
