which version of agent for exchange server shall web buy?

We are running BE v9.1, and want to buy a license for "agent for exchange server". There're two awailable and which one is the right choice, will the 10d be backwards compatible, will the ver.9.0 be compatible to server v9.1?

I am running version 9.1 and any agent that i have been sent for version 10 has not been compatible.

Kindly note that Backup Exec v10.x license numbers are not backupward compatible. Also, it is same vice versa.

But Backup Exec v9.0 license numbers are compatible with V9.1.

I got some info from our local salesman: we can backwards "down"grade from version 10d to 9.1 by buying an exstra maintainence service of version 10d.
